As a challenge one night, we started a grant application which was due the very next day. The grant, which was selected in part by public voting, was run by the website/magazine GOOD. Called “Storytelling for GOOD,” the prize would go to a project using storytelling to create social good. We worked late into the night to film a video submission - see video. Ultimately, we did not win the grant, but our submission still gained enough support and attention that the project moved forward. For example, Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos spoke about the project and tweeted a link, as did the Inter American Development Bank's president Alberto Moreno, and Colombian soccer star Falcao.
